Have you ever said, “I’m Booked at that time”? It’s a nice phrase isn’t it? Did you know you could use it all the time? Go book yourself a lunch with a friend and use it. It will make you feel great and the other people you’re talking to feel great too. Many people do things out of guilt because they don’t have anything on their calendar. None of us need guilt on our shoulders.
A lot of people think that they can squeeze their agenda into your plans. If you don’t set aside time for yourself and block it off your calendar, somebody else will come along and do it for you. Let’s face it. We all have 24 hours in a day and only 7 days a week. Wouldn’t it be great if we were able to fit into our day some of the things we have always wanted to do? We’ve all seen the glass container filled with large rocks and then sand and then water right? If you fill your life with sand first, there isn’t any room for the rocks. Put first things first in your life and everything else will fill itself in.
The big rocks for me are number 1. My time with God. 2. My time with my family 3. My time for myself 4. My time for my business. This is a priority. What are your priorities? Have you looked over your calendar lately. Look at those empty spaces, those are for you – that space is time for you to use not waste. Fill them up too. Book yourself a massage, or take time to read a book you’ve been excited to read, go out for a walk, take time for exercise, time to meditate, whatever it is that you want to do also needs to be booked into your calendar. This is important so you can live your best life possible!
