SANTIAGO, Chile (YI) – Closing The day Christmas Concert at Temple Square in Santiago de Chile, had a large audience reaching the 5000 participants, among members of the Church family, friends, missionaries and others.
This conference attendees enjoyed a new repertoire with melodies already submitted the previous days, and adding new numbers in the presentation and partition new national soloists like Camila Gallardo.
The roar of the crowd was evident and many attendees stayed to share with international and national artists, took pictures and shared some words.
Among international performers we have the pianist Marvin Goldstein who spoke to us and gave us their sense of participation: “The experience here was amazing, I’ve always wanted to come to South America and the Chileans are so warm and friendly to me, they love music and spirit of the Lord. I like the members and non-members respond to music and then become involved in the gospel of Jesus Christ, I really appreciate being here. ”
To which subsequently Vanessa Joy, lead singer added: “I love and loved every minute of it, was so rewarding to be part of this whole experience and I had a wonderful time with each of the people I’ve met. They are all very talented and most importantly are very spiritual and one can feel their love and testimony of Jesus Christ through music. It was very powerful this feeling and enjoy every moment being here. ”
Each year to remember the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ and to participate in church activities and in our homes we are acknowledging and contributing to spirituality and remember the Gift who is the son of God.
On the last day of the concert the President of the Missionary Training Center, Elder Doll wanted the missionaries left the temple grounds to share the message of the birth of Jesus Christ with all people. He has told us that “It is time christmas to remember the birth and the sacrifice he made El Salvador for us. It is important that we share this message with everyone friends and family. ”
While Mary and Joseph were preparing for the birth of her baby, an angel descended from heaven and came to Bethlehem. He went through the crowded town and went up to the deserted and dark hills on the outskirts of the city, to give a simple message of love and hope. The angel spoke to the humble shepherds on him who would be the shepherd of all and said: “To you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign: Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. ”
