The only power the devil has over you is through your thoughts. It’s up to you to decide if you listen to them, and believe them.
Don’t let bad thoughts take root in you by believing lies. In Genesis 3:15 we learn that he can bruise man’s heal, but we can bruise his head. We have the higher power.
Your thoughts (good or bad) are in your mind only. You can dismiss the bad ones, but they will always come back, or you can learn to start to speak to them instead by learning the power of declarations.
It is only when your positive words come out of your mind and are spoken that they begin to have power. You can defeat your negative thoughts with positive words.
We all need encouragement and motivation to face our day. We can learn how to become our own best cheerleaders.
In the Bible, 1 Samuel 30:6 It tells us, “David encouraged himself in the Lord his God”. He encouraged himself daily. We all can learn from this example and do it consistently like David did. As you begin speaking positive declarations over your life you will see everything improve.
In the Bible Paul tells us to pick up the “sword of the Spirit”, which is the word of God. Read it, and speak it out of your mouth.
You won’t be tormented by the Devil if you use the sword. The more you hear these positive words spoken over yourself, the more confident your life will be. Build yourself up by starting your declarations today.
