Gratitude shapes us and connects our lives.
It’s more than just feeling happy. When you see what you already have, and you are thankful for it, you start to see and receive more.
When we appreciate what we have, we start to feel even better about our lives. Science shows us that gratitude has many benefits. It contributes to our health and well-being. The Science Center at Berkeley found that thankfulness is “social-glue” that builds bounds with our friends.
Gratitude has 2 parts according to Robert Emmons. Affirming gratitude, by seeing it all around you every morning, and recognizing it comes from something other than ourselves.
I believe in giving God the credit.
Being grateful helps us realize that without God, we would be nothing. We owe all the credit for our successes to God.
When you use the daily journal to write down 5 things you are grateful for every day, you begin a habit that will shape your life forever. This habit will bless your health, strengthen those around you, and connect you to happiness.
Hope this encourages you!
