Why do successful people spend alone time with God?
All I know is…
Dan Cathy, the Chick-fil-A CEO spends half of his day every two weeks and one entire day monthly completely alone. He also gives himself 15-20 minutes in solitude before he gets started with his morning. Why? Because he wants to give time to his thoughts. Look at how successful he is today because of it!
Great leaders spend alone time listening for a still, small voice. Taking time to think is a big deal.
Jesus spent time alone praying as well. If He did it, so must we!
Setting a routine, and doing it at the same time each day making it a regular part of our life helps. Set your timer for 10 minutes.
Go to a quiet place and bring two very important things with you while you are alone. The two things you need are a pen and a notebook.
Say a prayer. After your prayer write down your thoughts and listen to what is being said in your mind.
