Have you written a letter lately? When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone? A physical hand written letter? Not just texting or emailing? Today is letter writing day! Do you love to receive a letter in the mail like I do? It is such a magic touch for a business to write a letter of thanks to those whom they’ve worked with. I wish I was better at remembering to do it, because when I do I’m so glad. People will remember you even more when you’ve taken the time to write them. It takes a little extra time on your part but you will be blessed in the end.
You can start by thanking someone who has touched your life in some way. I just finished writing to Marvin Goldstein to tell him thank you for a great concert he performed with me last week. Tell the people you write, why you are thankful and tell them from your heart what it is that makes you enjoy them. Tell them why you are grateful for their friendship and love. As you write, your heart will be full of gratitude and so many good things will continue to flow to you in your life.
If you haven’t worked with someone in a while, send one to a family member. It can really cheer them up as well as cheer yourself too. It is a simple act of kindness that will bring you a lot of joy and success in your life.
I love receiving a hand written note after a performance. I treasure these letters. People write down their feelings and share their comments with me in such a beautiful way and it makes me feels so good inside to read these letters. I keep them in a drawer to refer to them on days when I need a lift. It is so encouraging to hear how my music has effected another person for good. It is the ultimate compliment knowing music has reached another person’s heart. If you’re interested in writing me a note please do! I’d love to hear from you. You can send letters or notes to: PO BOX 9405 Surprise, AZ 85374 or you can go right here to make a public testimonial for all to view.
