Are you grateful for nature and the beauty on this earth? So many things in this world are here to remind us of God. There is a powerful strength that comes from just being outside listening to the birds and watching the leaves shimmer in the wind. There is music in nature. Have you heard it before? It brings peace and calm into your life. It reminds us of where we came from and why we are here. Breathing in the air and feeling the sun and wind touch your face is pure freedom. It reminds me of a beautiful song I’ve always loved to sing since I was a child. It’s called, “Heavenly Father Loves Me”
“Whenever I hear the song of a bird, or look at the blue, blue sky, Whenever I feel the rain on my face or the wind as it rushes by. Whenever I touch a velvet rose or walk by a lilac tree. I’m glad that I live in this beautiful world. Heavenly Father created for me. He gave me my eyes that I might see, the color of butterfly wings. He gave me my ears that I might hear the magical sound of things. He gave me my life my mind my heart I thank Him reverently. For all His creations for which I’m a part. Yes I know Heavenly Father loves me. He gave me my eyes that I might see The color of butterfly wings. He gave me my ears that I might hear The magical sound of things. He gave me my life, my mind, my heart: I thank him rev’rently For all his creations, of which I’m a part. Yes, I know Heav’nly Father loves me.” – Written by Clara W. McMaster
