I had my first sip of Watermelon Water when I was living in San Antonio, Texas about 10 years ago. It was the middle of the summer and I was extremely thirsty. I found it for sale by a vendor near the river walk during a festival. The weather was so hot and I was delighted to try it, but I had no idea at the time how easy it was to make. I discovered this recipe and I have been drinking it every summer now for about 5 years. It’s a great thirst quencher. Living in Arizona feels like an oven right about this time of year.
